I am 47, and still have pimples. I went to the dermatologist wanting a chemical face peel for ice pick scars, and little bumps (can't remember the terminology) but was given Tazarotene. I've read It is supposed to also help fine lines and such. It has helped the little pumps I have all over my cheeks somewhat but frankly I was hoping for more improvement. I still think I am going for the chemical face peel,but I'm going to find a plastic surgeon even if it's more expensive thanks to all the revues I have read on laser treatments, dermabrasion and chemical peels, I have a much better idea of who I should see and what to ask for.

Conclusions
Did help some with the tiny bumps on my cheeks, but I was hoping for more.
