Skin Care Review: Retin-A
|
by Carol Mills, Clarksville, TN
Rating No effect
Benefits
Retin-A was reletively inexpensive. Easy application is a plus.
Drawbacks
Irritated my skin.
Details Retin-A was prescribed by my doctor. I was about 35 years old at the time.I dont remember what the strength of the product was. I liked the fact I could adjust my application as needed. Unfortunately, I was unable to find an application that would work for me. I tried for about six months. The product had my skin irritated and inflamed with in 3 days. As I adjusted my application down so the product was not irritating my skin, I did not notice any markable improvement. After six months of not finding any balance I discontinued use of the product. At age 42, I still have at least one break out all the time.
Conclusions
Based on my experience, if skin is sensitive, it is a waste of time.
