Neutrogena On the Spot acne treatment is a very effective and inexpensive acne treatment product. This is one of the best acne remedies I have tried (I haved tried everything!) It is because of the 2.5% formula; this makes it effective yet non-irratating. Every product with this formulation has worked very well for me ( I've also used Clear by Design and Stridex Day and Night). I don't like the cream base much. A gel base is easier to apply and more effective. The problem is there are very few 2.5% benzole peroxide products on the OTC market. Right now, this and the Stridex Day and Night are the only ones I've found in the stores. Also, benzole peroxide bleaches clothing (I have ruined quite a few shirts in my lifetime because of these products). This means that this is best used at night when you are wearing pajamas, becuase you don't want to ruin your best clothing. Thie .75oz size is also a drawback. Acne.org recommends that you use a lot of product, and I tend to agree. This means that you would have to purchase quite a few packages every month. I use it with Cetaphil gentle cleanser and Eucerin skin renewal moisturizer. I've used a 2.5% benzoyle dioxide product for over 5 years. I highly recommend it. It has cleared almost all my acne. I am currently testing products to clear the blackheads I still do have.

Conclusions
All in all, considering all the products out there that do not work, this is a gem.
