Skin Care Review: Oxy 10% benzyl peroxide acne medication
|
by Katie
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
it treats and prevents new pimples, whiteheads and blackheads, and fades acne marks
Drawbacks
Made my face itch everyday, and and caused excessive dryness
Details I decided to try Oxy after years of not using BP and I thought my skin would tolerate it better this time, but I was wrong, im scratching my face as im writing this review because the itchings just wont stop! it also caused excessive dryness and even fine lines under my eyes, and i read on the forum of this site today that BP may contribute to aging of the skin. i cannot even wear foundation because it accentuates the dryness of my skin and looks horrible! it did prevent and treat acne, whiteheads and blackheads (nose), it's the dryness that probably did it. it irritates and dries out my skin so much that it's just not worth it for me!
Conclusions
2.5% BP might be better for me, but im going to look for alternative ways
Price (paid by reviewer) Around $6
