I am 46 years old, and I've always suffered with oily skin, and acne cysts due to over sebaceous pores. Of course "I've tried every product" to refine my pores and stop the cysts and infections. My skin has never been "clean" and clear to my satisfaction until using Skin Biology's salicylic acid Exfol Creme this past 6 months. The Exfol cream has been as effective as my previous regimens of retin-a, plus with the Exfol cream there's none of that typical retin-a cycle of 'look great for 2 days, crack and flake for 3'. This cream is absorbed and moisturizes leaving no residue, has no scent and no sensation on contact. Salicylic acid disolves the sebum, and is anti-baterical, so I haven't had a truly clogged or an infected pore in months. I cautiously use a home AHA peel, diluted to 15%, every 2 weeks or so, hoping to refine the texure of my skin, but I am convinced that day-to-day it is the Exfol cream keeping my pores clear. The cream has even cleared up a bumpy, red, rosasea-looking condition on my upper chest that retin-a nor the peels improved. I also use S.B.'s copper products 1-2 times a week (not daily because the products are blue in color on the skin due to the copper). These are said to rebuild the skin and reduce scarring, by causing a reaction within the collagen layer that instigates regeneration of every skin structure. On my acne scars, a dozen very deep, pore-like holes, the coppers are helping to shrink and make shallow these holes. After years if these being part of my face and routine, several are now shallow as my normal pores, and the rest continue to show reduction as I treat them.I fully expect they they will disappear altogether soon. Does it get better than that? Skin Biology, I believe, produces Quality, Effective products, And I have to mention their quanties are generous and prices reasonable.
