Antibiotic Resistance, Residue
Details I used this product for over a year in combination with Oral Antibiotics and Differin at various points. I saw a dermatologist and said I haven't seen much improvement. He said that the bacteria that cause acne can become resistant to the antibiotics. He also said there is some reasearch that has indicated that using Clindamycin in combination with benzol peroxide products reduces the risk of this resistance. I did not try this comination becuase I felt like I had been on antibiotics for too long.
On another note, this product leaves a residue on your skin. I used both the get and the lotion, and prefer the gel. Although I have comination skin, the lotion is not a good quality lotion, and I prefered to use my own.
Conclusions
Use this short term, it might help. Don't use too long, will lose effectiveness.
