Skin Care Review: Retin A Micro (for acne)
|
by Anonymous
Rating Excellent
Benefits
Clears up acne and evens out skin tone.
Drawbacks
Will make acne worse before it gets better, can be a little drying/irritating at first.
Details I have suffered with mild acne for nearly 17 years, thankfully, I have never been covered in pimples, but I would barely go a day without at least one pimple popping up it's ugle head. I've tried everything from antibiotics to accutane (twice). Retin A micro has been a miracle cream for me. I go months without a single pimple, and even if one does pop up, it's always tiny, and disappears in a day or two. And as a complete bonus - the retin a has really evened out my skin tone. The only real draw back to this product is that fact that it will make your skin worse before it gets better. I broke out quite badly in the first week of treatment, but at the same time, my skin was a little dry and irritated. So don't start it before a special occasion or event. But if you do try it - push through those first couple of weeks - it will be totally worth it.
Conclusions
I'd recommend it to anyone who has struggled with acne.
