Skin Care Review: Sage Skincare Zit Zapper
|
by Anonymous
Rating Excellent
Benefits
Quality ingredients, gentle but effective for acne.
Drawbacks
Must apply to wet skin; product is expensive ($30 for one oz; $40 for 2 oz)
Details This is my favorite product of the Sage line. It is a BHA/AHA gel anti-acne formula that is for people who are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. The aloe-based gel is soothing, and my skin has never flaked or gotten irritated by this, yet it prevents acne and keeps my skin smooth of flakes. Directions for applying this gel are a bit time-consuming (must be added to damp skin and then left to dry before adding anything else to your skin) but a little pea sized drop is all you need to spread over your entire face. My skin feels clean and lightly moisturized after I apply this.
Conclusions
Better than Sage's MSSR formula, worth the extra expense.
