I lived in the tropics for a while and when I returned to the States my skin did not adjust well. I never really suffered from bad acne just occasional blemishes from time to time yet my face when I returned was just horrible. I had deep acne and tons of clogged pores primarily on my cheeks. I tried several things before finally giving Proactiv a try and found that over four to five monthes my face cleared up. However, it did not start working well until I started drinking over 8 glasses of water a day, doing regular exercise, and using a good exfoliator for my face. I also stopped using the toner because it dried my skin too much. Witch hazel or nothing works just fine. To eliminate the scarring on my face my make-up artist suggested just using pure Vitamin E oil on my scars at night to clear them up and sure enough it worked great! Also there is a product at health food stores called Egyptian Magic that really helped along with Vitamin E to clear up my scars and blemishes. Overall, I think I needed Proaciv in conjuction with other products and treatments to clear up my dreadful complexion and while it took a while I now have smooth, radiant skin once again!

Conclusions
I recommend Proactiv cleanser, lotion and mosturizer with the mask.
