Skin Care Review: Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask
|
by Amy Mayberry, MI
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
Supposed to shrink large pores, dry up acne, and remove blackheads
Drawbacks
Burns!
Details First of all, I don't have sensitive skin and am able to use any skincare product available. I've noticed some large pores on my cheeks lately and blackheads on my nose, so I bought this product since it was on sale. I didn't need it for acne, since I VERY RARELY get pimples.
Well I should have saved my 2 bucks and use it towards something else. As soon as I applied it, my face started to burn badly. I almost rinsed it off immediately, but decided to wait it out. Hey, it takes pain to be beautiful, right? Or so I thought. I left it on for the recommended 15 minutes and then rinsed it off. I looked in the mirror, and my pores looked no different and the blackheads were still on my nose.
And the worst part was waking up the next morning to 3, yes 3, fresh pimples on my chin.
Conclusions
I definately do not recommend buying this product!
