Skin Care Review: Lumenis ClearLight (Blue Light Acne Therapy)
|
by Laurie, Leitchfield, KY 42754
Rating No effect
Benefits
None.
Drawbacks
Hot,hurts the eyes, turns skin red from heat.
Details I drove 6 1/2 hours a day to Nashville 8 times to get the Clearlight blue light acne therapy done. The first time they forgot to give me goggles and I stared at the light (its like a blue laser, sort of) and I'm afraid I may have given myself cataracts. Its very hot, and it makes your skin temporarily red for a few hours, but they told me it makes no ones skin red at all, I was the first (right). It did absolutely nothing, they told me it would kill the bacteria and get rid of my acne for up 2 years. It didn't do anything AT ALL. I got my face done and my back done, so I had to lay 20 minutes with it over my face, and had to lay on my stomach it with it over my back for 20 minutes also, and pay 250 for each area, a total of 500, and I had to prepay all 8 treatments. It would be worth it if it works, but it doesn't.
Conclusions
Its not worth it.
