Skin Care Review: Diamond Peel Microdermabrasion
|
by Z. Zakaria, North Royalton, OH
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
Supposed to minimize acne scars and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Drawbacks
Redness, swelling for several days after treatment
Details I'm 33 years old and started having breakout around my chin. So the aesthetician recommended me diamond peel package for 8 visits and she also applied glycolic acid before the first microdermabrasion. She said there is no negative effects, I should only look a little pink for that day. But my face was swollen and the next day I looked like I had burn all over my face which I never look that bad since I had chicken pox 20 years earlier. It took almost a week for my face to get back to normal. She thought that it was because of the glycolic acid but after checking the reviews here at SmartSkinCare.com I told her to change my microdermabrasion package to normal facial.
Conclusions
Microdermabrasion is not for everyone especially if you have sensitive skin.
