Skin Care Review: Facial for blackheads
|
by Katerina Markova, san diego, CA USA
Rating No effect
Benefits
Gets rid of the existing pimples
Drawbacks
Causes inflamation, stretches pores
Details I have attended one of the salon facial sessions where they cleaned my face by squeezing blackheads out of pores on my skin. Even though they conducted a pre-treatment by steaming up my face and cleaning the skin thoroughly, I ended up having inflamation, which I consider one of the factors of skin problems such as acne, enlarged pores, bleakheads and wrinkles.
I believe there should not be such an intrucive method of clearing the skin off bleakheads. Regular use of such products as scrubs and peeling masks (which, for some reason, became less popular)w ill probably do much more good than such invasive methods of skin care. Plus I agree that bleakheads and pimples may be coused by some other uderlying factors, like poor digestion, allergies, wrong diet, malnutrition. Purposefully breaking layers of skin is not a good way to obtain a positive effect, for the skin's natural balance gets disrupted. It is also a risky procedure becouse of the possibility of infection. The right diet and healthy life style may be a better way to go.
Conclusions
Never use such methods of skin care
