the dermatalogist, which i no longer see, put me on the strongest dose of Accutane, and i was to stay on it for at least 5 months. i ended up stopping after 3 months because of heavy hairloss. i started reporting this to the docter after a few weeks, his response was that there was no reason to connect hairloss with Accutane. when i had just been given my forth month perscription, as usual i explained my concerns about hairloss--he finally responded strongly that i should not fill the prescription. not until that point had he acknowledged that hairloss was a side affect of this medicine. and i believe he over prescribed the strength of my dosage.

Conclusions
find a dermatalogist that does not start prescibing medicines at maximum dosage.
