Skin Care Review: Allergan Prevage
|
by wendy, clackamas, OR usa
Rating No effect
Benefits
Supposed to be great anti-oxident.
Drawbacks
The Price. It's spendy
Details I've used Kinerase for over a year, and heard that Prevage was supposed to be even better. It was a "super product" as I was told. I decided that if I liked Kinerase, I'd love Prevage and it's probably worth the price if it works. I've used it now for approx. 3 months, concentrating mostly on the wrinkles around my eyes. I have found the product to be slightly drying and to not really have any effect on the wrinkles at all. I have found that to make it comfortable to use, I know apply the Prevage and wait a few minutes. I then layer the Kinerase over it. I'm only still using the Prevage because I spent good money on it and can't just throw it away. My opinion is that it may work for some people, but it hasn't done any good for me. In fact, it made my skin drier which in turn made the fine lines look worse. You'll definately need to spend more money on a good moisturizer to use after applying this product. I wouldn't spend the money on Prevage again.
Conclusions
Doesn't live up to it's claims. Very drying.
