Skin Care Review: Glytone Overnight Skin Lotion 3
|
by Kathleen Turnipseed, Fresno, CA USA
Rating Satisfactory
Benefits
Skin was exfoliated and appeared clearer.
Drawbacks
Dificult to use without areas of dryness even when using the formula for dry skin.
Details I have use the entire Glytone line of anti-aging products, primarily because they were a cost effective way to be able to use products with a higher concentration of Alpha Hydroxy Acids. I progressed through Stages I though III as directed, but the product always seemed harsh even after switching from the one for normal skin to the one for dry skin. Skin was certainly exfoliated, but never felt or looked particularly soft or hydrated. My skin didn't feel ready to begin to do my make up for the day and I started using other finishing moisturizing products to refine the look and feel of my skin texture. I have since switched to a produt that has a higher concentration of AHA's and it is far more gentle. I went directly to the
Level III formulation with no trouble.
Conclusions
A lot of concetration for the money, butr I'd spend a bit more and use MD Forte.
