Skin Care Review: La Mer face moisturiser
|
by S McGrath, Northamptonshire England
Rating Good
Benefits
It's a rich cream. A little goes a long way!
Smells lovely too!
Drawbacks
Key ingredient is sea minerals..not some kind of rare magic! So why is it so expensive?!
Details After reading all the hype for a year or so, I decided to buy a tester on E bay, a small 7ml jar of La Mer which set me back £20! I've tried a lot of stuff over the years, so I was a bit sceptical. Anyway, I've been using it twice daily in very small amounts, and a little does go a long way. I have a few flaky patches and they seem to be less noticeable. I also have rosacea but I don't apply the cream to my cheeks as often. I tend to use it around my eyes, and the wrinkles seem to be less obvious. I don't think it's a miracle, just simply a cream that seems to agree with my skin type. I'll continue to use it, but I won't fall victim to their whole range. I'll stick to my usual cleaner and make up!!
Conclusions
I'll continue with the cream alongside my usual cheaper regime.
