Skin Care Review: Kinerase
|
by Debbie, WI
Rating No effect
Benefits
Does not burn skin like Retin-A
Drawbacks
Does not seem to reduce the signs of aging
Details I am 53 and have dry skin. A number of years ago I had negative results when I tried Retin-A to reduce the signs of aging. I gave up until I saw an ad for Kinerase several years ago. I have used Kinerase since I found it. It makes a great (but rather expensive) moisturizer, but doesn't live up to it's claim of a Retin-A alternative for reducting fine lines. It does not give my face the sunburned feel like Retin-A, nor does it make my face peel. I first purchased it thinking it would eliminate a couple age spots I have on my cheeks. It did not. If it lightened them I haven't really noticed. I've always had smooth skin but dry skin. I'm beginning to believe that any moisturizer will do the job of keeping my skin hydrated. I have not yet found a cream that will reduce wrinkles, fine lines, sagging or even age spots.
Conclusions
Great moisturizer if you want to spend the money. Look elsewhere for wrinkle reducers.
