Skin Care Review: Preventin-AT
|
by Robyn Mixon, Winston Salem, NC USA
Rating Good
Benefits
reasonable price for a pentapeptide product; large tube; smoother skin
Drawbacks
has to be used with moisturizer
Details This product is supposed to be a less expensive version of Strivectin. For $30, you get a large 6 oz tube of the cream which I have been applying on my face morning and evening for about a month. I have had one area of my right cheek which had some discoloration--this has been much reduced and I am pleased. I also feel that my skin has an all over smoothness which has added a glow. I also think that the small wrinkles around my eyes are much smoother now.
I do not think there is any cream which can do what botox does to the eyebrow furrow area if one continues to make the same facial movement, but I have been rubbing this cream into the forehead area and I actually do think it has softened those lines. For now, and the tube lasts for 6 months they say, I plan to continue to use this product.
The product is not a moisturizer and tells you to use it with a moisturizer, which another reviewer may have missed.
Conclusions
I think that to soften wrinkles and smooth skin, this product works well.
