I started using Renova about three and a half months ago. My dermatologist recomended that I apply it twice a week for the first two weeks, every other night the next two weeks, then every night after that, and of course a good sunscreen every morning. After the initial irritation, my skin calmed down and begin to change. What I thought were moles beneath my eye brow crusted over and fell off. Fine lines around my eyes and mouth have been greatly reduced. My brow lines are still there but seem smoother. My skin texture has become smoother. My skin tone has become more even. I ran into a friend that I hadn't seen in a year and she said that I looked ten years younger! Maybe a slight exageration but she plans on going to a dermatologist soon to ask about Renova. Other people I've talked to were turned off to the original Retin-A and were amazed at the results I got with Renova. Renova is a newer version of Retin-A that is in a moisturizing base appatently making it less irritating and drying. If you tried Retin-A when it first came out, and didn't like the side effects, then try Renova. I use the stronger Renova but there is a milder version for more sensitive skin. I am a 46 year old man that only wishes that I had taken an interest in my skin care 10 to 20 years ago. I look and feel better about my appearance. Needless to say, I Love Renova.
