Skin Care Review: Retin-A Micro
|
by Shulamite Warrior, Irving, TX, USA
Rating Good
Benefits
wrinkle control
Drawbacks
skin irritation if used incorrectly
Details I have used Retin-A Micro, 0.1%, for several months now. It seems to work well and better if combined with a glycolic acid solution, which was high-priced, from a spa, called DermaSwiss Epifactor (BioSkin Restoratin Gel). I found out that the Retin-A Micro needs to be put on top of a moisturizer, applying only a pea size or so and spread evenly over the face and neck...in the evening. The glycolic solution should be applied in the am. The combination of Retin-A Micro and the glycolic solution work well if the above directions are followed ...sometimes creating a peeling effect.
Conclusions
Retin-A needs to be in combination with another product, such as a glycolic acid solution.
