None for me
Drawbacks
Caused my skin to become extremely red, itchy and inflammed.
Details Buying a $60 tube of Retin-A and having to go to the Dermatologist for a prescription, I was determined to give this product a try. A few months ago I tried by applying the product nightly. My dermatologist said that I may encounter some red/itchy patches but these would go away with time. After 3 months of trying the product, I had to stop because, specifically around my eyes, my skin felt as though I had hives or a burning sensation that would not QUIT! I read that 4% of the people who try Retin-A have these similar reactions and after a time the redness and inflammation disappears, but it never disappeared with me.
Again, determined to try the product, again, I stopped using Retin-A for a few months and tried again. This time, the inflammation and redness was so uncomfortable I had to stop using it within 5 days! It's like my body remembered that it didn't like this stuff!
I'm off to try a new product... for sure!
Conclusions
Try to get a sample from the Dr. before committing to the product, Retin-A.
