Thins Skins if Overuse
Details I had been using Tozarac for 5 years. Prior to Tozarac, I had tried other Vitamin-A products such as Renova and Retin-A. For some reason, my skin seems to tolerate Tozarac the best. Especially to my arms. I used to need to keep my arms moisturized all the time. After using Tozarac for about a month, I no longer seem to apply moisturizer as often - my arms are always moist. I used the 0.1% for my arms. And, the 0.05% for my face, particularly the T-zone area. I have combination skin and large pores on the sides of my nose. It doesn't do anything. But, I applied it two/three times a week anyways. Together with 15% Vitamin C in the morning and 15% glycolic acid twice a week. It worked out pretty well until couple years ago, I started to get very sensitive. I first stopped the glycolic acid about a year ago. And six month ago, I have also stopped using the Vitamin C and finally I stopped Tozarac one month ago. Finally, my skin is back to normal. It is no longer sensitive. I'm going to get back on the Vitamin C routine and try Differin instead of Tozarac.
Conclusions
Use sparingly; Train your skin; Give your skin a break once in a while
