Skin Care Review: Neostrata Exuviance
|
by Susan , PLEASANT RIDGE, MI, MI, usa
Rating Good
Benefits
Non-irritating to my rosacea skin
Drawbacks
Can be expensive, hard to find (only one store in my area)
Details Exuviance contains gluconolactone, a less irritating hydroxy acid. The 4% is not irritating on my skin compared to AHA. It is available in higher strengths (up to 12 %) which I have not tried and cannot comment on.
Nice cream, does not make me oily, contains spf 15.
I have been using it for about 4 days now, so I really have not seen results yet. However it does not sting my skin, which is great because I have sensitive skin. I switched from Alpha Hydrox brand of AHA as I was getting major stinging and iritation.
Conclusions
Worth a try if you cannot tolerate AHA.
