Skin Care Review: Tazorac Tazarotene
|
by Anonymous
Rating Good
Benefits
Tazorac is much easier to tolerate versus Retin-A Micro .04%.
Drawbacks
Tazorac can be irritating but less than Retin-A Micro .04%.
Details I am a caucasion male, age 37 with light complexion and lots of moles. I have very little freckles. I have very oily skin and this has been the case since I was a young teenager. I have used tretinoin in most of its different forms since my late teens. I have been reasonable consistent since my late twenties. Retin-A always caused irritation and redness if I used it daily. It really helped when the different micro forms arrived. I was pleasantly surprised with Tazorac. I do not experience the same amount of irritation as I did with Retin-A and/or Retin-A Micro. It also seems to help more with acne. One caveat, I am 37 now and my skin in general is changing so this could be part of the reason Tazorac works better for me.
Conclusions
If you are having trouble tolerating Retin-A or Retin-A Micro try Tazorac.
