Although I am happy with the results of my laser resurfacing, I was disappointed about a couple of things. I had it done to help correct acne scarring. When I met with the doctor, he said nothing about only doing certain areas of the face with the laser. I was unaware that they don't do the entire nose area. I was told that the skin on the nose is too thin while I was in surgery. I also thought that they might laser the area on the upper cheek. I understand why they don't get too close to the eye but I would expect it could be within a 1/2 inch or so. Anyway, my point is, ask the questions that you think are obvious. The answers may surprise you. I though that I would get a full face laser resurfacing, but didn't. You need to check. Also, you need to have checked out redness covering makeup before your surgery. My doctor told me that makeup was readily available that covers redness. Unfortunately, not many of them work real well. You need to check it out so that it's not a point of frustration during your recovery.
