Skin Care Review: Patricia Wexler Anti-Aging Skin Care
|
by L. Stewart
Rating Good
Benefits
Softer, smoother skin; diminishing of age spots and discoloration; fine lines softened.
Drawbacks
Not very effective on deeper creases or wrinkles;expensive.
Details The majority of the items offered in this product line are of high quality and reasonably effective in treating aging skin, however, several items do not measure up to claims, and some have negative effects on this consumer's sensitive skin.
"No Injection Wrinkle Smoother" creates deep comedones, and under eye cream leaves a residue around the eyes which reacts with moisturizers, causing stinging and "crumbs" of product around the eyes. Exfoliating scrub is exceptionally good product; nighttime moisturizer is soothing and calming to the skin. Skin brightening moisturizer tends to cause oiliness in T-zone; lip-plumping gloss appears nice on lips, but is quite sticky and causes very unpleasant sensation of numbness. Small amounts of expensive product packaged in deceptively large containers.
Conclusions
Best:anti-aging cleanser, exfoliating scrub, nighttime moisturizer
