Skin Care Review: BioMedic Maximun C
|
by Anonymous, worcester, MA USA
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
completely exfoliating
Drawbacks
Too harsh for dry or sensitive skin
Details I am 36 with dry/sensitive skin as was looking to add vitamin C to my skin care regimine. This powder is added to your lotion or cream on a per use basis (mixed in your palm with your own lotion). However, even using much less powder than the smallest recommended dose, causes far too much irritation and peeling for my skin. The product is a combination of ascorbic acid, calcium ascorbate, and magnesium ascorbate and I would not recommend it for anyone with dry or sensitive skin. Perhaps one of the less irritating forms of vitamin C derivatives would be a better choice for this skin type.
Conclusions
would not recommend for sensitive skin
