Skin Care Review: Olay Regenerist
|
by Jan, OK USA
Rating No effect
Benefits
Product does moisturize and is very light
Drawbacks
Although the product feels light with application it actually has a greasy effect. did not reduce wrinkles.
Details I have a light complexion but tan easily. My skin is combination with drier skin on the sides and a more oily T-Zone. I have not spent hours tanning in a booth but never thought much about sun screen until the last 5 years and have had alot of incidental sun exposure. I am early fifties and have an average amount of wrinkle and sag and increasingly large pores. I have tried other creams (including eye cream) in this Regenerist line and did not feel I saw any noticible benefit from any of them with regard to wrinkle reduction. If there was ANY appearance of wrinkle reduction I feel it was due to simply providing moisture to the skin. But then the serum did seem greasy and I felt caused my skin to " break out". I have never had complexion problems until I turned 50 and this has also now become a problem. I think many of these problems address moisture but I think the key is exfoiliation which most products do not address.
Conclusions
Olay Regenerist serum is pricy, oily, did not reduce wrinkles or improve skin condition
