Skin Care Review: Philosophy Hope And A Prayer PM Capsules
|
by ashley, Houston, TX, USA
Rating Satisfactory
Benefits
smooth and resurface skin, night repair of damaged skin
Drawbacks
skin gets dry and flaky after two applications
Details I found this product from Philosophy website, and the description of the product seems very nice. I have been using Philosophy product for more than a year and am quite happy with them, but I never try anything other than moisturizer and serum at night. BTW, I am 32 without any facial lines so far and are very careful of protecting it from aging.
Not sure if the night retinol is right thing for me, I went to Sephora and asked for a few free sample for trying. I didn't see any result from the first application. I guess I need to use it for a few days to see if it works. However, after the 2nd application, I found my skin gets dry and red in some areas and started flaky. I even have difficulty to put foundation on because of the flakes. I am not sure if it is normal for retinol treatment or I am allergic to it. I stopped using it now and hope my skin will get normal soon.
I can't say if the PM capsual is a good product, but it seems it doesn't work for me.
Conclusions
It may be a good product, but it doesn't work for me.
