Skin Care Review: Skin Biology Copper Peptide Serum
|
by Stephanie Fuller
Rating Satisfactory
Benefits
Definitely seems to thicken and enhance fundamental health and deep structure of skin.
Drawbacks
Seems to cause superficial crepeyness/wrinkling, esp around eyes.
Details I am both thrilled and very upset by this product!! I am very pleased with how it has toughened up my skin on most parts of my face - it is less fragile and reactive, pores are finer, and it's generally smoother, firmer and healthier ... except under my eyes, where I have developed weaker, flacid, wrinklier, less structured skin. :( Also there is a slight dryish wrinkle-orientation in general, in the upper layer of skin.
Skin Biology make all kinds of complex recommendations about this and people's experiences vary - its best to visit their site and chat forums.
(My skin is 36 years old, previously very youthful looking (not so sure now) and toward the olive side of caucasian. My skin is still great everywhere except under my eyes and around/down through the cheek/smile-wrinkle areas.)
Conclusions
Oxymoronic: Both less & more wrinkley! Great for deep structure; bad for fine wrinkles.
