Skin Care Review: Radiance
|
by Daniel Siazon, Moscow, ID U.S.A.
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
I have had no benefits form this product.
Drawbacks
The injection is still hard two years later.
Details I was rather unfortunate to have an experience with a Plastic Surgeon who injected a facial scar with Radiance. He told me that it would be permanent and he had been having good results with this product since it had just recently come out. (I later come to find out that the FDA has only approved it for Vocal Cord treatment and not for wrinkle or scar filling). The tunneling technique he used was nothing short of "unskilled" as he injected a line under the scar to raise it up. The scar lifted alright, but never filled. Now I am left 2 years later with about a one inch line that lifts a facial scar. I wish I never would have had this procedure done. Most of it I believe to be do the inexperience of the surgeon when it came to the "tunneling technique" used to inject Radiance.
Conclusions
Beware of those who administer "off-label" treatments with products.
