Skin Care Review: Dr Christine Schrammek Green Peel
|
by Helena, London UK
Rating No effect
Benefits
Can't think of any in my case - it might work better on oily and acne prone complexions.
Drawbacks
Painful, expensive and it did not produce very good results
Details This completely natural peel is supposed to stimulate blood circulation and regeneration of the skin, by production of new cells and collagen fibres. This is a recognised non-surgical procedures for acne prone skin, wrinkles and even strech marks. I tried it because I have some very minor scarring on my face, but it did not even help with that, so I can not see how it could help with more severe problems. It was extremely painful and left my skin very dry. The strangest thing is that I has better results with microdermabrasion, and considering this is a medium peel I expected it to be much more effective. It did not shift any wrinkles, scars or give my skin radiance.
Conclusions
Only worth trying on acne prone, problematic skin.
