Skin Care Review: Galderma Cetaphil
|
by Christine, Forestdale, MA USA
Rating Excellent
Benefits
gentle, non-comodegenic, non-irritating, nice-smelling, leaves skin clean but not tight
Drawbacks
no lather, at first I used more than I needed, more expensive than other cleansers
Details After years of scrubbing at my acne-prone skin (even into my 30's!) with medicated soaps and exfoliating scrubs, my doctor suggested as gentle a cleanser as possible instead...what a relief -- this takes off all my make-up (even hard-to-budge mascara)and leaves my face soft, not tight and dry. I use retin-a as well, and the combination has worked wonders, as the retin-a can be harsh and drying (at least at first)...Cetaphil gently cleans without damaging or stripping my skin. No more harsh cleansers, no more irritating scrubs.
Conclusions
I'll never use soap on my face again -- Cetaphil is it.
