Skin Care Review: MD Formulations Cleanser
|
by Ratna Craig, St. Louis, MO 63104
Rating Excellent
Benefits
Smoother and softer skin with less blackheads, in-growns.
Drawbacks
Price and can irritate some sensitive skin types.
Details An esthician recommended MD Formulations at a spa I visited earlier this year, after I complained my breakouts were due to small in-grown hairs. I was hesitant to try something I'd seen being sold on QVC and for $32. Additionally, it has a Cetaphil like texture so I was not sure this was going to be my skin clearing solution. However, after 4 weeks - I was sold. I had many fewer ingrown hairs on my face and breakouts, and my skin was definitely softer and smoother. The price is steep but one bottle has lasted me over 4 months already and I still have another 2-3 months in the bottle.
Put this cleanser on dry skin and massage it in for a minute to two. Then, wipe off with a warm wash cloth. Finally, splash your face with warm water to get any residue off.
Conclusions
Great for those with combo skin, suffering from break-outs resulting from ingrowns.
