i bought this as part of Philosophy's makeup optional kit off of the tv infomerical.. after doing a course of Obagi skincare program for acne and hyperpigmentaion. so i wanted something natural and gentle to use in the meantime. with this philosphy make up optional kit, which claims to give you skin that doesnt need foundation in 3 weeks. im on my 3rd week and so far my skin looks pretty good. i still have to wear foundation but not as much as before. you get a set of products that usually cost about 30 dollars a piece for about 89.99 so its good value. although it claims to be fragrance free this cleanser smells slightly medicinal yet sweet in a natural way.i guess that means they havent added any fragrance and the smell comes from all the natural oils like sandalwood and sage. i really like the smell. it comes in a big bottle so it will last a long time and it doesnt take much to really clean skin. it has a creamy texture that is not at all drying to the skin. it contains a lot of natural ingredients. if you had a lot of makeup on you might have to clean your face twice with this cleanser to get your skin totally clean. of course it has the philosphy signature statments on the bottle which is nice i guess.

great cleanser lasts a long time and leaves your skin feeling clean and healthy
