Skin Care Review: Glytone Mild Gel Wash
|
by Traci St. Claire, Marietta, GA USA
Rating Excellent
Benefits
Cleans and Exfolliates skin while maintaing a proper PH balance. Helps with acne.
Drawbacks
It's a little expensive. Has to be purchased through a Dermatologist or online.
Details I started using Glytone for moderate acne as recommended by my dermatolgist who at the time, carried the Glytone line at his office. Since I had done prior research on the effectiveness of hydroxy acids I thought that this product would be worth trying. Glytone Mild Gel wash not only cleanses my skin throughly but has cut done on excess oil and has reduced the severity and number of my breakouts by at least 80%. I can also tell a difference in pore size after I use this product; my pores appear smaller and leaves a nice rosy flush to my complexion. Glytone Mild Gel Wash is recommended for normal to oily skin and contains a 4.7% solution Glycolic acid which is more than most drug and department store brands contain. It also has a PH of 3.8 which I understand is good number for skincare products to have and which is supposed to allow other products to penetrate the skin and work better. I've used other Hydroxy acid products before but this one is superior to the others. A bottle generally lasts me from three to four months.
Conclusions
I would recommend this for oily skin or acne.
