At 33 I started using Alpha Hydrox Lotion for periodic acne. This product has helped.

Details I started using this product at the age of 33. I knew very little about skincare in general, beyond the basics. I realized that my skin looked tired and dull. Also I was going through some hormonal shifts and so it all added up to a very unclear, unhealthy appearance. I heard about the benifits of glycolic acid, the main ingredient in Alpha Hydrox as an effectiv exfoliant. I thought that this might be a good place to start my new skin regimen. I found Alpha Hydrox (containing glycolic acid) and started using it at once. Applied avery morning to cleansed skin (very important), it tingled slighty and produced a slight redness which stopped after a few days. The results have been very satisfying. As to its claim as an Anti-Wrinkle I cannot really comment, except to say that that I look virtually that same as ten years ago (a few more forehead lines). You MUST wear suscreen with this product as it renders the skin more sensiive to light.
Conclusions
I would recommend this product to anyone who wants that "clean, fresh" look.
