Skin Care Review: Microdermabrasion
|
by Linda Pritchett
Rating No effect
Benefits
I did not see any benefits whatsoever
Drawbacks
Hurt and irritated skin
Details I just turned 50 and am beginning to see the signs of aging increase on my face. I bought a Groupon for 3 Microdermabrasion treatments at a new Med Spa in town and have to say I was so excited to get my first treatment. Boy was I disappointed. It hurt like heck and my skin was so irritated the entire day. The next day, my skin started to peel because it was so dry and I looked five years older than I did the day before. It eventually calmed down and today is one week later and I honestly do not see any difference whatsoever. In fact, I am convinced I look worse and my husband (reluctantly) agreed.
Conclusions
I am not going back for my other two treatments. Save your money.
