Skin Care Review: Burts Bees Lemon Poppy Seed Facial Scrub
|
by Lauren Crisafulli, Silver Spring, MD usa
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
smells absolutely faboulous, claims to be all natural.
Drawbacks
The poppy seeds are what is supposed to gently exfoliate left scratches on my face.
Details Over all, if you don't have very sensitive skin this is probably a good product for you, but if your skin is even the slightest bit sensitive I wouldn't recommend it. The lemon creme base is great but the poppy seeds do to much damage to outweigh it. I love most Burts Bees products and if the poppy seeds were removed it would be fabulous, but nothing is worth scratches on your face. At first I thought I was pressing to hard when applying, but even when applying with my ring finger and my pinky, the poppy seeds are too large, too sharp and too abundent to avoid. If they were removed this could be an excellant product.
Conclusions
if your skin is at all delicate or senitive I would definitly steer clear.
