Skin Care Review: Estee Lauder Idealist Micro-D
|
by Sammie, Little Rock, AR
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
At-home alternative to micro-dermabrasion.
Drawbacks
Intense heat sensation on application.
Details I agree with Tina from Portland, OR on the adverse effect of the Estee Lauder Idealist Micro-D. I have the same exact reaction from the product as she did, and the heat sensation on my face felt like it was on fire, almost as soon as I applied the product on my face. I had to wash it off almost immediately with cool water. I then used the Idealist Skin Refinisher to try to calm my face, but damage was already done. My face looked like I had a rash-like allergic reaction to the product.
I have used other Estee Lauder skincare products, but nothing compares to this horrible experience with the Idealist Micro-D.
The only consolation for me is that I did not pay for this product, but had received it as a gift with purchase.
