Skin Care Review: Natura Bisse 50% glycolic acid peel
|
by veronika voss, Los Angeles, CA, usa
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
The intention was for the glycolic gel to act as an exfoliating agent.
Drawbacks
This glycolic gel appeared to create an incredible rash all over my neck and face.
Details The glycolic gel, appeared to create a horrible red, itchy and inflammed rash all over my face and neck, had to see a dermatologist who prescribed an anti-iflammatory cotisol cream and an over the counter benadryl. This took approximately 8 days to subside ...... I do not have a history of such allergies. I returned the product to Neiman Marcus at the Natura Bisse counter. They saw the rash and was extremely apologetic and gracious, excepted the return and returned my funds. They invited me to an in store facial with one of their cosmotologists following the healing of my rash.
Conclusions
I would stay away from their glycolic gels due to at least 3 known reactions.
