Skin Care Review: Patricia Wexler glyco peel
|

Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
made my skin feel smoother at first.
Drawbacks
made me break out and made my skin oily and flaky.
Details when i first received this product i was very excited to start using it, as i have very problematic skin and am always searching for some kind of "miracle product" or at least something to improve my complexion, even a little. im in my early 20s and have had acne since i started college, but im also trying to get an early start on anti-aging skincare so i felt like this glyco-peel would be the perfect solution. I applied it the first night i got it and the next morning before my regular moisturizer and makeup. That day i felt like i noticed that my skin looked smoother, but also could see that my face got very oily very fast and remained that way all day. Over the next few days, i began to find small clusters of tiny bumps around my mouth and nose. i believe these were zits caused by the product. At the same time i was beginning to have dry patches in the same area. So basically my complexion was a disaster--oily, broken out, and rough and flaky. it took at least a week to detox from that and ive tried to use it since then with the same results.
Conclusions
if you are acne prone, i do not recommend this product.
