Skin Care Review: Diamond Peel Microdermaabrasion
|
by Cynthia Ames, Fremont, CA United States
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
After 2 visits some improvement in fine lines on my nose and mouth areas.
Drawbacks
Third visit I experienced a red rash so I discontinued treatments.
Details I was suppose to have a series of at least 6 treatments to reduce fine lines around the bridge of my nose and around my eyes and mouth. The treatments were like having my face sanded. For days after I felt kind of raw and sensitive and most of the products I would use would sting and provide very little moisturizing effects. After my third treatment I broke out in red bumps which made my face feel dry and tight. To me the results were not worth the side effects so I chose to discontinue the series and look for alternative ways to reduce wrinkles.
Conclusions
I would say that micro derma abrasion is not for everyone.
