Details I chose to apply a peel composition of Salicylic, Lactic, and Citric, 8% ea. 24%. I applied a peel prep that contained pigment suppressors, anti-inflammatories, and Lactic Acid. Then I applied this SLC peel in one layer. These both were applied with a guaze 4x4. After evaporation and drying, I proceded with the microdermabrasion. Afterward, I either hydrated which activated the peel and timed for 5 minutes then cleansed and hydrated, or cleansed and hydrated immediately. When hydrating and timing, the burning sensation was treated with a fan. This extra step was chosen for clients with specific pigmentation issues. I did these in a series of 6-12 at one to two week intervals.
