Skin Care Review: Microdermabrasion

I have had several microdermabrasion treatments over the past 2 years. I had 1 treatment per month. The cost was approx. $200 per treatment.

I have had problem skin all my life. I have small ice pick scars from blemishes. They have become much smaller due to the treatments.

Prior to microdermabrasin treatments my skin was bumpy with red splotches. Microdermabrasion has not only diminished the scarring, it has evened out by complexion, improved my skin tone and provided me with smooth, younger looking skin.

My treatments were performed by a cosmetic physician. I would not recommend treatments by an aesthetician. Seek a professional. A dermatologist may be able to point you in the right direction or speak to a cosmetic surgeon.
