Skin Care Review: Microdermabrasion
|
by Bryan
Rating No effect
Benefits
Microdermabrasion did help to lighten up damaged, red skin, but no effect on wrinkles
Drawbacks
It is very expensive for virtually no change in texture.
Details I had microdermabrasion done on a patch on my forehead that was burnt from the sun. The skin was left very rough and a different texture from the rest of the skin. It has created some lines, and wrinkles. Microdermabrasion was an easy method to pursue, but the price was very high for the things it did for the skin. It may have helped lighten it up slightly, but as far as texture goes, it did almost nothing, and definitely nothing for lines or wrinkles. Be wary about being sucked into this by doctors, for it is a very common, and easy procedure
Conclusions
Lightened skin a bit, but no effect on wrinkles. Be skeptical about promises of results.
