I started out with a low percentage, 8% and now I use the TCA peels every 2 to 3 months. I have used other peels like glycolic, Beta, and lactic, but I hardly noticed a difference and there was a lot of pain. I also tried the Jessner, which is good, but you cannot compare the great results you get from the TCA Peels. I also use retin a every day which helps, but I stop about 2 or 3 days before. After the peel, emu oil is fantastic. I put it on at night for about a week. I really think it helps it turn out nicer and more moisturized than without. I am told that regular moisturizer is a no no when the peel is healing. I guess it's like putting lotion on a scab, it interferes with the natural healing process.

Conclusions
I definitely recommend being really careful when trying this.
