Skin Care Review: St Ives Swiss Formula Apricot Scrub
|
by Stephanie
Rating Excellent
Benefits
renews the appearance of the skin, tightens appearance, and still skin soft to touch
Drawbacks
can cause eye irritation if accidentally in contact with eyes
Details I am in my mid-30s, caucasian with freckles and some fine lines around my eyes. My skin is normal (not particularly oily or dry). I have always liked the St Ives Swiss Formula Apricot Scrub as an exfoliant and recently switched to the same line's "Renew and Firm" scrub with alpha hydroxy. I use this scrub on my face and my decollete (neck and chest). I notice improvement in the appearance of fine lines, a smoothing of them, and my skin is softer on my face and chest. I have not had any random pimples or breakouts show up since I started using this product. I use it in conjunction with a product line that I have already been using for months, so the difference may be attributed to the scrub. It smells good and isn't harsh at all as some exfoliants can be. This product is very inexpensive and, therefore, may lead a shopper to believe it doesn't work, but I believe it does have effect.
Conclusions
Recommend this product, inexpensive and does seem to improve skin appearance
Price (paid by reviewer) inexpensive $5/tube
