Skin Care Review: Clinique Repairwear Intensive Eye Cream
|
by Rowan Knowles UK
Rating No effect
Benefits
Part of complementary, task-specific product portfolio.
Drawbacks
No noticeable improvement.
Leaves shiny finish so unsuitable for daywear.
Expensive.
Details This product is an eye cream designed to strengthen delicate skin and to address signs of ageing such as dark circles, puffiness and deep lines and wrinkles. The product is an opaque white cream with a pleasant consistency. According to my sales assistant it should not be rubbed into the skin but applied with a light tapping motion, assisting drainage of accumulated fluid.
I have used many Clinique products with good results, notably Clinique’s Repairwear facial creams and of course the 3-step system. However my impressions of this product were not favourable. On application the product leaves the skin shiny, making it unsuitable for daywear. Moreover after five weeks of nightly application I have noticed no visible results.
The product is expensive as it comes in a tiny 15ml (0.5oz) jar and cost £24 (about $47 equivalent).
Conclusions
I was disappointed with this product's performance compared to other Clinique products.
Price (paid by reviewer) £25.00 (approx $47)
